[It’s a] way of making people of colour in science, tech, engineering, maths in the UK feel less alone

In this episode we cover Alex’s background, from finding jobs on Gumtree to becoming a computational biochemist, via working at the BBC. We discuss how learning about science media led him to become a creator - first establishing ‘Minorities in STEM’, a network for ethnic minority people in the STEM community, and ‘Why Aren’t You A Doctor Yet?’, a podcast covering science, technology and pop culture.
